Postech Thermal Pile - Insulated Screw Piles

We are proud to be Winnipeg's only piling contractors offering Postech Thermal Piles.  We serve Winnipeg, rural Manitoba and cottage country with pride.  Postech Winnipeg's steel screw piles are the most solid and stable piles ever designed. In response to growing climate changes, Postech designed Thermal Piles, a new environmentally friendly insulated galvanized steel screw pile.

The thermal process guarantees a stability that is superior to all other piles currently on the market.

The revolutionary insulation system ensures that the inside of the steel screw pile is maintained at a temperature that eliminates ice or frost build-up at the base of the screw pile; providing unparalled protection against ground movement.

Postech Winnipeg Screw Piles

Simply put, our piling system is made up of a large galvanized steel screw which supports a fixed or adjustable head plate. These parts work together to provide unparalled support and adaptability for practically all your building projects.

We Only Carry 10 Foot Piles

Did you know that the frost line in Winnipeg and parts of Manitoba can be as deep as 8 feet?  That's why Postech Winnipeg offers only 10 foot steel screw piles to ensure that the helical is firmly anchored below the frost line.  Remember you lose 6 inches at the base of the steel screw pile and you should have 6 inches of pile above grade for ground swelling.  You don't have to choose Postech Winnipeg (although we highly recommend it), but if you do want a competitor's steel screw pile foundation choosing a steel screw pile that is 9 feet or less is a gamble.
